Saturated deep ruby. Superripe aromas of cherry and chocolate liqueur, graphite and oak; ripeness verging on raisiny. Then much fresher in the mouth, with enough acidity to give definition to the silky cassis and spice flavors. Notes of mint and laurel contribute to the impression of verve. Finishes with suave, very fine tannins.
